A very light fining-filtering ensures they remain all the way to the final bottling. It's mighty ripe, full of berries and cherries with briar-brambly character.  Fruit-driven, sensual, flavoursome & succulent.

Deep ruby red in colour.  The nose is extremely fragrant with vibrant florals, liquorice and mocha notes.  A beautifully fruited mid-palate which is extremely textural and has complex red and dark fruits complimented by hints of oak spice and fine tannins,  The finish is exceptionally long and balanced.

This unique blend is a complex, aromatic wine with black doris plum notes and subtle hints of oak and tannins.  The ripe berry flavours of the Merlot are complemented by the fragrant and approachable nature of Viognier.

Enticing aromas of sweet, ripe, black fruits mingle with hints of floral notes and oak spice.  Touches of black pepper and savoury in style, the palate is soft and full-bodied with rich smooth chocolate and  cedar spice.

Densely coloured red, with a core of dark plum, overelaid with the fragrance of violets, cardamom, lavender and cedar, while oak delivers dark chocolate and vanilla undertones.

Dark fruits conbine cherries, blackcurrant and fruit cake.  Baking spices, cedarwood and smoke. Full bodied in the mouth, bold tannins. Dark berry fruits, especially cassis flavours, linger, with earthy and pepper spice notes.

Aromatic flovours of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and toast wrap the fruit, with hints of bay leaf and mint keeping the aromas fresh and liely. Ripe berry flavours and a rich mouth-feel unfold on the palate, while the supple tannins provide a fine finish.  Refined, elegant and powerful.

Dense purple and red. Dark berry fruits, savoury characters and a spiced and toasty fruit-cake aroma. Mineral earth notes combine with tobacco characters and intense rich berry flavours. Spice, white pepper and cedar mix with cassis characters and are supported by fine tannins.  Balancing acidity provides backbone and balance.

Medium full-bodied, tight and densely concentrated flavours of mineral-infused blackcurrants and black plums are finely interwoven and integrated.  The fruit is supported by very fine-grained tannin extreaction and refined, ripe acidity provides excellent tension. The flavours flow seamlessly to a very long, sustrained finish.

Coleraine 2003 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot with a dense, dark crimson colour and aromas of blackberry, violet and anise.  The palate is rich with chocolate, currant and coffee flavours, and ripe powdery tannins that build across the palate, leading to a sustained, elegant finish.

Coleraine 2004 has a dark crimson/magenta colour and aromas of dark roses supported by notes of spice, blackcurrants and liquorice.

The palate opens with the dense, sweet, dark berry fruits indicative of a great year.  The focus quickly turns to rich fine tannins that fill the mouth, leaving a lasting impression of a wine with significant ageing ability.

Coleraine's gorgeous floral aromas, togetherwith macerated blackberries woven with graphite and thyme.  The palate is pure and very precise, building in intensity, with a long fine tannin structure providing great length.

The palate has a concentrated core of perfectly ripe blackcurrants, with layers of damson plums and chocolate leading to long, powerful tannins and refreshing acidity.

Canterbury

The palate entry is deceptively soft, but the wine expands in the mouth to reveal a broad framework of ripe tannins, that draw out its length and support a lingering after-taste.
